An Arizona middle school teacher admitted raping a 13-year-old male student while his friend watched and guarded the classroom door. Brittany Zamora, 28, was sentenced to 20 years behind bars at Arizona State Prison Complex – Perryville in Goodyear for abusing the boy and grooming another at Las Brisas Academy after pleading guilty to charges of sexual conduct with a minor, attempted molestation of a minor, and public sexual indecency.

- ZAMORA WAS ARRESTED IN 2018.
It was discovered that she had raped the boy, then 13, several times at school. On one occasion, another student acted as a lookout while she committed the horrendous act. “They were doing it. It was very uncomfortable,” the witness told police, according to The Arizona Republic.
- IN HER EYES, THE RELATIONSHIP WAS CONSENSUAL.
Despite the fact that she was an adult sexually abusing a child, Zamora carried on a relationship with the boy for a number of months, with the two often having sex in the classroom or in Zamora’s car. They even touched each other regularly in the classroom while other students sat oblivious to the relationship, according to a police record.

Whenever we can, you know I’m down,” she wrote in one message, adding, “Like you for real get sexier to me every day lol.”
- THE BOY’S PARENTS HAVE SINCE FILED A $2.5 MILLION LAWSUIT.
They’re suing million in damages, according to a civil lawsuit filed in January against Zamora, her husband, and the Liberty Elementary School District in a civil suit that is still ongoing.
- UNSURPRISINGLY, ZAMORA’S MARRIAGE TO HER HUSBAND HAS FALLEN APART.
Less than a year into her sentence, Zamora filed for divorce from her husband, Daniel, even though he stood up for her throughout the trial and defended her endlessly. He is said to have repeatedly badgered the victim’s family, asking them regularly to “meet up” so they could “settle this.”
