It is often said that the brain is the only part of the body that does not sleep.
While asleep, our minds are still active and creating stories and images that can be either vivid or fleeting, nonsensical or seemingly prophetic, all depending on your mood, events, or your thoughts before falling asleep.
On an average, we typically dream about 4 to 6 times per night. You might be thinking it’ s impossible but that’ s because, we mostly forget more than 95% of all our dreams.
The less stressed you are, the more likely you might remember your dreams, and the more pleasant they might be.
While scientists and religionists have been studying dreams and giving possible explanations about some really common types, these dreams are still largely misunderstood, but here are possible scientific meanings behind these dreams.
- Falling from a height:
This is felt as a jerk reaction, that occurs mostly when you’ re starting to fall asleep and your organs are relaxing. But if you see yourself falling from a height, it might indicate anxiety.
- Running: This is another common dream that often occurs as another form of anxiety manifestation. It’ s either you’ re being chased by your problems or you are chasing your problems.
- Being naked: This usually entails a form of embarrassment. You might have the fear of embarrassment or it might just be your body’ s way of warning you of something negative coming.
This is a strange and at the same time, scary type of dream. You might see yourself dying or see someone who has died already, it is a bad omen that portends nothing but danger. In times like this, you need to be fervent in prayer.
A weird but strangely common dream, especially among women. It usually means you have gotten to a certain stage in life where things can only get better or worse than they are.
