He Studied Business Administration at Oakwood University before dropping out to make beats and record vocal references. Davido rose to fame after releasing “Dami Duro”, the second single from his presentation studio collection Omo Baba Olowo (2012), from which six extra singles—”Back When”, “Ekuro”, “Abroad”, “Every one of You”, “Gbon”, and “Feel Alright”— were taken. In 2012, Davido won the Next Rated grant at The Headies. Somewhere in the range of 2013 and 2015, he delivered the hit singles “Gobe”, “Stand-out”, “Skelewu”, “Yes”, “Tchelete (Goodlife)”, “Devious”, “Owo Ni Koko”, “The Sound” and “The Money”.
In January 2016, Davido declared on Twitter he had marked a record manage Sony Music and a couple of months after the fact established the record name Davido Music Worldwide (DMW), to which acts Dremo, Mayorkun, Yonda and Peruzzi are at present marked. In July 2016, Davido marked a record manage Sony’s RCA Records. In October 2016, he delivered the 5-track EP Son of Mercy, which was upheld by the singles “Gbagbe Oshi”, “How Long” and “Coolest Kid in Africa”. In April 2017, Davido re-arranged his agreement with Sony because of imaginative control issues and soon thereafter he delivered five singles including “If” and “Fall”. “If” created overall online media action while “Fall” turned into the longest-graphing Nigerian pop tune in Billboard history. Davido delivered his second studio collection A Good Time in November 2019. It was upheld by the recently delivered singles “If”, “Fall”, “Confirmation”, “Knock My Socks off” and “Dangerous”.
